Private Residence
This residence contains 7,000 sf of living space and a four car garage on a site of less than one acre.
All major living spaces radiate out from a central stairhall which splits the home into two distinct zones,
public and private. The private zone is formed by the family room, dinette, and kitchen; the public zone,
which is used for entertaining, includes the spa room, great room, and dining room.
To respect the owner’s wish that the home be a good neighbor, a unique exterior was designed.
The exterior elevations open on all four levels with terraces and decks which maximize views over the site.
Reminiscent of the Arts and Crafts style, the exterior exhibits a subtle, consistent, and sophisticated detailing.
Steep roofs are typical; cedar and brick are used throughout.
The project was the subject of an article in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
